PrePain can start
The large-scale brain database project PrePain - Predict and Prevent Pain - has been approved by the Regional Ethics Committee. This means that healthy volunteers who perform a brain scan can contribute to pain research by solving one of the most pressing clinical questions of today: How can we predict who is going to develop a long-term pain problem? The goal of PrePain is to use brain images, genetic data together with registry data to predict who is at risk of long-term pain.
